October 26 · Katherine RussellI'm a 67-year-old disabled overweight male who doesn't walk very good. My wife loves to dance and has been going with a girlfriend and her son for a couple of years. I finally decided to go and just sit and watch. That didn't last long I couldn't just sit there and let everyone else have all the fun, no siree. I have to hold onto the railing and walk out then hold onto my wife to dance (if you want to call it that). The band is made up of some super nice guys who have been playing all of their lives. Everyone is there just to have a great night of fun. There are people there of all ages, including children. I have not met anyone there who isn't as friendly as they can be. I was made to feel at home and part of the large family of regulars the very first time I went. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves to dance or wants to just try to dance, singles, couples, families or anyone. No one criticizes your ability or inability to dance. There is no drinking of alcohol or smoking allowed. There are smoking porches for those who do smoke. Everyone is expected to act on their best behavior, including children. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. People who do not act in a responsible and polite manner will be asked to leave. Loud and obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. Thus, it makes a very nice environment for good people to have some good clean fun. I want to thank the owners Jim and Pat who run the place for making such a place for good people to go without having to worry about drunks and loud hollering and cussing and carrying on. It is a wonderful family-oriented place to go for a night of good clean fun. There is a $6 charge, and it is well worth it. Open from 7pm to 10pm on most Saturday nights. I just can't say enough good things about the place or the people there.
December 20 · Benji RicheyThis is a fun way to spend your Saturday night. Owners are welcoming and friendly. First time we went he made a point to shake our hands and learn our names. Great live music.
May 06 · Linda JonesRestaurant converted to a dance hall. No chicken wire in front of the bandstand. Older band members; older clientele. Smallish main dancefloor, but larger one available.
December 08 · John YoungThis is a great place to go and have fun dancing and talking to friends The whole family can get involved .The band is great
