RVA Swing Reviews
I highly recommend RVA Swing! I attended 2 balboa swing workshops with Ryan and Erica. They are excellent instructors - they're dedicated to dance, have fun dancing, and are very thoughtful about how they teach. I learned so much.I definitely plan to come back!
September 16 · Margaret EfronRVA Swing does a great job offering classes to dancers of all levels, and they're being very careful in the pandemic. Over the summer, there were fun outdoor classes, and now there are socially-distant indoor, masked classes, as well as zoom classes. The zoom are super fun - you get to dance in your own home, so if you're at all nervous, it's very low stakes! Solo jazz dance has become my new pandemic skill, and it's been a lifesaver, getting me up and moving after I spend all day at a computer. Highly recommend to dancers of all levels, including those who are so new they aren't sure they can be called "dancers" :)
November 01 · Elizabeth FaganRVA swing has a monthly social dance and so far they have been great. Very welcoming and fun. Their lessons and dj's vary and they are very accommodating. Only main note is to park in the lot by CVS and market pavilion. Walk around to the front of the building where there is a bike rack, next to the Dilla place. Go down the hall all the way and you should run into the desk human. Finding the location the first time is a little tricky, but other than that, I've enjoyed every visit.
May 20 · Amy MAmazing studio with welcoming staff and students. Greatly appreciate they are covid conscious and financially accessible. Lots of fun classes and offerings.
November 14 · Marcia DI've taken some workshops here and had a really good experience. The owners are really friendly and they have a full calendar of classes for multiple levels.
