When it comes to outfitting a dancer, whether a beginner or a seasoned professional, choosing the right store is as important as choosing the right gear. The Dance Store is worth choosing for several compelling reasons. The most significant benefit is the expert, in-person service, especially for critical items like pointe shoes. As one reviewer attested, a proper fitting is a game-changer. The knowledgeable staff can assess a dancer's specific foot shape and needs, ensuring they get a shoe that is not only comfortable but also safe and effective for their dancing. This level of personalized care simply cannot be replicated by an online store. Additionally, The Dance Store provides a crucial convenience for parents and dancers: the ability to try on supplies before buying them. A reviewer pointed out that prices are "comparable to on line," which removes the main incentive for many people to shop elsewhere. This means you get the best of both worlds—competitive pricing with the invaluable benefit of in-person service and fit. As a small, women-owned business, choosing The Dance Store means supporting a local, community-focused enterprise. The store's commitment to accessibility and a welcoming environment, highlighted by features like gender-neutral toilets and wheelchair accessibility, shows a business that values every customer. In a field where the right fit can make or break a dancer's experience, The Dance Store stands out as a trustworthy and essential resource. It's the place to go for quality products, expert advice, and a shopping experience that truly puts the dancer first, helping them feel confident and ready to perform.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Great experience getting fitted for pointe shoes here! Highly recommend! My fitter listened to exactly what I wanted and what I didn’t want in a pair of pointe shoes. Thank you again!!
March 21 · EmGo here first for dance supplies- prices are comparable to on line and you can try them on.
May 31 · Mitch WThe dance store is a cute little place that has things that no other place has for dancing.
May 22 · Mr ParkerI chose to come here rather than order characters shoes online on Amazon where it might be cheaper, but I wouldn’t be sure of the fit or quality. The owner of this cute store helped me find some lovely, comfortable, quality character shoes at a decent price for an upcoming show. I also got some convertible tights and she showed me a Eurotard catalog with some character skirts. The owner was very kind and the store had a good selection! I recommend coming here for your dance shoe and apparel needs.Update: I came back here because the shoes I originally bought ended up not working out for me and my bunions. She helped me find two other pairs of shoes that were more rounded at the toe, more comfortable, and even let me try on some toe spacers! I danced in 1/2 pairs last night and they were so comfy! The owner is beyond patient and kind. I’m so happy with these new purchases! I’ve turned other people on to this store and they talked about how nice she was too.
March 06 · Melissa GutiérrezAn excellent local business that deserves your support. It's such a convenient place for all of my daughter's dance gear. The lady who runs it is super helpful, friendly and knows the particulars of what each of the local dance studios expect for the students gear. Convenient parking out front of in back parking lot.
