Valkyrie Introduce
For Illinois residents, particularly those in the St. Louis Metro East area, Valkyrie, known professionally as Valkyrie Aerial Arts, is a unique and empowering point of interest that transcends the traditional concept of a dance school. Located in Belleville, this facility specializes in aerial arts, pole fitness, and various dance styles, offering a physically challenging and artistically rewarding experience. More than the impressive list of classes, Valkyrie stands out due to its unwavering commitment to fostering a safe, encouraging, and inclusive community for every customer, regardless of age, physical condition, or background.
The studio's approach is highly personalized, focusing on quality over quantity. Unlike larger studios that might pack many students into a class, Valkyrie maintains limited enrollment to ensure every attendee receives individualized instruction and hands-on guidance from the instructors, such as Brian (Orion) and Celeste. This level of attention is crucial in aerial arts, where safety and proper technique are paramount. The encouraging atmosphere is repeatedly highlighted in customer feedback, noting that the instructors are "incredibly encouraging" and adept at managing and tailoring classes to various skill levels. This positive reinforcement makes it an ideal place for Illinois locals who may be hesitant about trying aerials or dance for the first time.
As a business that proudly identifies as LGBTQ+ owned and operates as a designated transgender safespace, Valkyrie has intentionally created a welcoming environment. For the Illinois LGBTQ+ community, this studio is more than a fitness center; it is a true community hub where self-expression and physical exploration can occur without fear of judgment. This professional, yet deeply caring, ethos ensures that everyone who walks through the doors feels uplifted, positive, and valued, reflecting the best of community support in the Midwest.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is full of amazing people!! Brian and Celeste have been incredibly encouraging, I've never done any aerials before this and it's so fun seeing myself progress. Their prices are amazing as well, which has helped me keep up with classes ♥️♥️♥️
June 26 · Lotus NinjaI have taken intro to pole and yoga at Valkyrie Aerial Arts. Honestly, I am not young or in great physical condition but I have always been impressed with the way Brian is always encouraging and can manage to tailor his classes to the abilities n skill levels of his attendees. Many studios offer larger classes for more student with less equipment. All of Valkyrie's classes have limited enrollment and provide individualized instructions. Brian and Celeste work very hard to ensure that everyone has a positive experience. They care deeply about uplifting their customers and providing a positive experience.
April 16 · Linda LynchWhere do I begin: I started taking pole classes about a year ago. I could never find anything close to me so I always had to drive to St. Louis. While I loved the studio and instructor, because I had nothing to compare it to, she closed down. I found Valkyrie from someone who said they heard a place opened in Belleville. I was so stoked that there was something like this now close to me. From day 1, to currently, because I'll never stop going unless I'm forced to lol, it's been the most inspirational and magical experience. I love the way I feel when I walk through those doors, while there I gain knowledge, confidence, material, and having the privilege to have someone with such amazing talent share with us what he knows is the bees knees. Brian's aura, energy, and personality just light up the room. I can't say more positive things about the space and the talent inside ✨️ It's such a rad vibe and I'm glad I get to be a part of it.
April 25 · Mandie MBrian is the best teacher! He has been great at explaining everything to me as a new yoga student, and his approach is always kind and patient and so encouraging! I've always felt welcome and supported in every class with him, and always look forward to his classes.
April 16 · Jean O'BrienGreat place to stop by and be able to learn new tricks! No matter what class you sign up for you’ll be greeted with encouragement and patience to bring yourself to your highest potential in your Arial arts journey. Whether you know a bit of Arial arts or are just starting out, regardless you will leave feeling accomplished by the progress from beginning to the end of class!
