What is Worth Choosing
The Verona Area Community Theater is the definitive choice for Wisconsin residents seeking authentic, high-quality, and deeply enriching community-based arts experiences. While one constructive piece of feedback suggests that actors could benefit from using microphones to ensure dialogue clarity in every circumstance, this minor point is overwhelmingly outweighed by the theater's exceptional value proposition. You are choosing an organization that not only provides engaging "Live performances" but actively invests in the future of the arts in your community.
VACT's commitment to inclusive participation—offering programs for children, high schoolers, adults, and seniors (55+)—creates a truly intergenerational environment unlike any other in the region. The dedication of the volunteer cast and crew, the professional standard of the sets and costumes, and the sheer volume of productions offered annually mean that there is always something new and exciting to see or participate in. For an unforgettable night out or a meaningful way to engage with the performing arts, VACT in Verona is a cultural institution that every Wisconsin local should support and experience.

August 14 · Mike RohanI wish the actors used microphones. Too many people around me were coughing etc so I missed a lot of the dialogue. Nice facility, nice people.
February 24 · Jacqi LevyTerrific show! (Professor Harold Hill belting out 76 trombones? Yes indeed!)Easy parking, cozy venue, super friendly intimate atmosphere. With such a small theater, every wink and hat bobble could be seen.Absolutely recommend seeing plays here bc this show was so well produced, well casted, and the invisible support staff did a fabulous job.Go, Go Go!
May 19 · Judy OwensThe VACT is a great small theater venue with comfortable seating.
March 23 · AnitaI was recently in Newsies, my first musical with VACT. It was a wonderful experience, really. So many talented performers and instructors, producing art with the caliber of a mature company. And everyone was just so.. nice! Whether you were playing Jack Kelley, or a singing nun- (far left nun, to be exact) there was always someone there to crack a joke or fasten your character shoes for you. Would definitely do this again!
