Westlake Dance Center Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I like this place because it has a great selection of classes to choose from and it's all adults. I think I maybe have taken 4-5 classes in the last six months. Unfortunately I did encounter some snobbery from the instructor who taught "contemporary ballet" this last weekend. It's a level 1-2 class but I believe she was teaching on a higher level and she was very annoyed with me because I wasn't keeping up with everyone else. She made sure to embarrass me but offered no solutions, no nothing. It was really horrible. i will be sure not to take her class ever again.
August 19 · Coco RI’ve never taken a dance class from this place, but I live next-door, and when their dance classes get out at midnight for up to an hour, they slam the back door shut and stand outside talking and laughing, and it is so loud and it wakes me up every time. I’ve asked them two times to be quiet. My husband has emailed the dance center multiple times asking them to please be aware of how loud they are. It is so frustrating!
November 15 · Caitlin W.Have taken their modern, ballet and hip hop classes. Great instructors and really friendly, fun environment. Free parking is available too.
February 09 · Buffy SatoLove this studio. Very encouraging space with very talented teachers. Students of all levels. No fuss either -- just drop in when you feel like it and come as you are. So thankful to have somewhere that I can dance as an adult, as many other studios are tailored to 18 and under.
July 02 · Leigha DaleI tried a bunch of studios and feel the most at home at westlake! I can do advanced classes but also try new styles at a beginner level. Highly recommend!
