WILDCATS Cheer Pride Introduce
For parents and athletes across Mid-Michigan, finding a top-tier facility that offers specialized training in cheerleading, tumbling, and youth fitness is crucial for athletic development. WILDCATS Cheer Pride, located in Lansing, MI, is a highly respected, women-owned gymnastics center and sports complex dedicated to building confidence, strength, and teamwork in athletes of all ages and skill levels. Since becoming a fixture in the Lansing community, this facility has worked hard to bring the best in cheer, dance, and tumbling training to the area, guided by a mission to "create great athletes and even better people."
More than just a gym, WILDCATS Cheer Pride serves as a comprehensive training ground. It caters to a broad demographic, from toddlers taking their first 'Tiny Tumble' steps to high school athletes preparing for competitive all-star cheerleading. Their extensive program list ensures that every child, regardless of experience or physical ability, has a pathway to engage with sports in a fun and challenging environment. Whether a family is looking for a low-commitment, recreational class or an intense competitive training schedule, WILDCATS offers options that fit their needs and schedule.
The gym has established a reputation for its vibrant atmosphere and ability to host memorable events, such as themed birthday parties—one reviewer even highlighted a "true rave, demon slayer anime fashion" party where staff communication was "phenomenal." However, as a public-facing organization dealing with youth, the importance of positive coaching remains paramount. While many families celebrate the energy and results, a single piece of critical feedback was shared regarding an interaction with one coach during a first-time toddler class, emphasizing the need for all staff to embody patience and supportive communication, especially when dealing with very young beginners. This highlights the standard of professional conduct that all families expect when entrusting their children to an athletic program, a standard the center strives to uphold across its coaching staff.
As a key facility in the Lansing community, WILDCATS Cheer Pride is committed to being an accessible and welcoming place for all Mid-Michigan families, with a wide array of programs detailed below.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had the BEST time at WILDCATS!We had my daughter’s 7th Birthday party here in true rave, demon slayer anime fashion 🥰 We had glow in the dark accessories, a fun EDM music mix that the staff played over the speaker and so much fun! The kids were able to get their craziness out and be themselves. The staff here is excellent the communication was phenomenal. All of our guest fell in love with this gym! We look forward to spending more time here. 🩷
February 13 · Kristen-Tamanee ManningSo a week ago me and my daughters step mom took her in to try out cheerleading for the first time ever . We all were so excited because cheer runs in both sides and I myself committed my whole school life to cheer. We heard wild cats was the best and figured we would see how she liked it. One of the coaches seemed to be very frustrated with her and seemed like she was overly annoyed with our child . Our daughter is very outspoken and loves to talk but she’s also just a toddler doing toddler things and looking to have fun and just learn . In the video i am posting I posted and had multiple comments made about how you can see the frustration yes as a cheerleader they teach you that they shouldn’t be able to move your arms . But she came up to her with attitude grabbed her wrist like she was disgusted or something just by how she looks and started slapping her arms around and just not being friendly or explaining why she was doing this which made us and her uncomfortable so we decided that wild cats was not for us. The other coach seemed to do really well with the kids and did excellent job but I think this girl needs to be talked to and taught how to deal with children because to me she obviously gets annoyed easily and can’t handle it . I think with some talks and some changes maybe wil cats would of been an amazing place but after dealing with this as our first time we are not happy and didn’t appreciate the vibe that was given. But good luck to everyone there and hopefully everyone else has better experiences then we did. Also I posted a pic below of the coach I also have the video as well. I did try to call and had no response back yet.
February 08 · Alyssa TicknerBest experience for cheer we've experienced so far. Coach Kayla pushes and supports to help your kid excel beyond their potential! Can't wait to see what's more to come.
April 27 · Adam PlettThe Pride is the place to be for cheer! After a long cheer journey over the past 10 years, progressing through skills and growth with different coaches and styles, we finally feel we have found the perfect cheer home. Wildcats Cheer Pride welcomed us with open arms. It was not an easy season with a lot of COVID uncertainty, general illness, and the usual rounds of injuries that happen in any sport but it was by far the best season. The coaching staff are dedicated, caring, and positive role models who want to see each cheerleader develop to his or her fullest potential. If your child loves cheer and is looking for positive and encouraging growth, The Pride is the place to be!
May 09 · Leigh WilliamsAmazing cheer gym! Owners are very involved and have excellent communication. We drive 1.5 hours to attend this gym because of the quality they offer🧡 The safety of my child is taken seriously and she is placed on a team where she will be both challenged and will thrive! The staff ensure the athletes take the stage prepared to hit. It is a great overall experience for all involved. I wholeheartedly recommend Wildcats Cheer Pride to everyone far and wide! We love this extended family and the life skills they provide. Join the pride! You won’t be disappointed 🧡🖤
