March 23 · Anijah GravesI’ve known Shawanda for years. I’m really impressed with her facility. They have multiple studios for dancers of all ages. They have resources for kids to learn and gain skills in all sorts of fields of interest. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a recording studio and podcast area. I was blown away. Shawanda is a force and has the highest standard for her organization. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was to see what she had built. I look forward to seeing what she does next. Thank you Shawanda!!! Tell B I said hi. You’ve done a great job!
November 20 · Anthony MartinezIt was fun when I first started but going on dancing they’re they start getting rude…At a competition at Kalahari our Dance instructor “Anna” she goes by, we had to spend the night there and everyone was hungry and Anna said “If yall hungry yall better call yall parents bc my auntie already got yall food today” which was hours early and some of the dancer didn’t get any food bc they didn’t have phones, they did have money, so some dancers had to go to sleep hungry and they wasn’t gone pay for us to eat the next day but they did ended up having to, And Anna would always crack on ppl it gets annoying she always saying someone stinks or fishy or making fun of the Dancer that we’re over sized, everyone on the hip hop competition dance team from last year competition season had something bad to say abt “Anna” even parents so y’all serious need to do something with her. Now let’s talk abt miss Shwanda she nice and coo sometimes but she is very aggressive and rude for no reason one time she called me into her office to have a talk with me and I had picked up my phone to check on it or either tell someone not to call me bc I talking to someone and they gone get me into trouble and next thing Ik I she her hand and my face asking for my phone and I was like dang but okay and I gave it to her and than she start calling my mom telling her she has to come up there knowing my mother can not do that and made me miss the transportation to put up for us and when was done she did not give my phone back so I was mad bc I was gone have to wait all day for my mom to have someone pick me up so I just pulled out my backup phone and telling my mom she took my phone and next thing Ik she comings out the room and start pulling for my phone so I pulled back and she said “you don’t want to do this with my I promise you” whatever that mean and for a sec it look like she was abt to pop me but idk, but yeah she be using that fake little smile and then be rude to the dancers until it’s time to dance at a competition or show her the dance so it was just a lot and it was stressful so I left hopefully you don’t have to go thru all of that or ya kids
