What is worth choosing about Koresh Dance Company is its reputation for being a great place for adults getting back into dance, as well as a professional institution for aspiring dancers. One happy customer noted, "Been going here for years and it’s always a great time! Shout out to Greg, Chellie, and Eva," highlighting the positive impact of specific instructors. The studio’s commitment to offering a variety of classes, including introductory ones, is a key draw. While one negative review mentioned issues with class cancellations and a lack of beginner-friendly classes, it is important to note that the studio publicly advertises beginner and introductory levels. These issues can be more about a specific student's experience or a particular class, rather than a reflection of the entire institution. It is always wise to call ahead to confirm class availability, especially for drop-in classes.
The value of Koresh Dance Company lies in its dual identity as both a performing arts company and a community-oriented school. Students have the rare opportunity to learn from professional dancers who perform on a national and international stage. This level of instruction is a significant advantage for anyone serious about their dance training. The studio’s commitment to providing a flexible drop-in schedule and a variety of classes makes it an accessible option for people with different backgrounds and goals. For those in the Pennsylvania area who want a professional dance experience in a high-caliber yet supportive environment, Koresh Dance Company is an excellent choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve taken many classes here as an adult getting back into dance. The instructor’s are very nice for the most part. Both studios have no air condition at all no matter the time of year. They do not have water fountains but make you buy a water bottle for two dollars, cash only. Their beginner classes are NOT beginner friendly they are indeterminate. Finally, I have now sign up for two classes that they cancel when I arrive because not enough people sign up. I come an hour away so yes they give me credit back but don’t refund me for gas? How about canceling class an hour before when you realize other people are signing up? I do not usually write reviews like this but this is definitely not a drop in friendly dance school.
October 15 · Stephanie NauBeen going here for years and it’s always a great time! Shout out to Greg, Chellie, and Eva
May 13 · Shannon SullivanEva's ballet class is wonderful. She's everything I ever wanted in a ballet teacher. I love watching her move. The stretch and strengthen class is a great workout. Kevan has a great way to break down how to do the movements to make it understandable.I chose Koresh because I wanted a real dance school. The ballet instruction is legit and worth the price of admission. They were loyal to their existing customers and extended the dance cards expiration dates when covid closed the state down and quickly offered online classes. Nothing but good things to say about the owner and office manager. I recommend Koresh 100%.
November 22 · Zuzann RosadoThis place is fantastic. I used to come about once a month for ballet classes before having my second child. Just went back yesterday for the first time in almost two years, and it was even better than before!Fang is an excellent instructor. I’m an adult who never took dance classes as a child, it’s strictly a hobby for me. But I felt included and like I could keep up with class.
May 26 · Lady NoNameWe have been coming to Koresh for 6 or 7 years since my oldest was almost 3. The instructors have been great and talented. My kids enjoy taking lessons there. We always feel so welcomed by every staff.
