Tuesdays 6:30 and on. Two Levels followed with Practica. Level 1 covers the fundamentals of tango and is designed for complete beginners. Everyone is welcome, neither experience nor a partner required, nor good balance, good musicality, or good posture. Those things you will gain by learning tango. Level 2 provides the essentials of tango social dancing: * master classic tango patterns * become creative in building up your own tango style * learn tools to make your dance dynamic and interesting * gain depth to understanding of connection with your partner and tango music * be part of the discussions about inclusivity and the evolution of tango * learn to trust and become more comfortable in choosing when to trust * become an active listener and present in the moment . Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. A full 60-minute Belly Dance Technique and Drills class. Each class will include 30 minutes of drills, 15 minutes of layering (travel, arm movements, shimmies), some work with finger cymbals and then a combination-based choreography utilizing the material that’s been worked on that month. This class has the opportunity to perform twice yearly at Sahira’s student nights in June and December.
- Body of Movement (Free Dance)
Thursdays at 7:30 pm (2.5 Hours) Body of Movement offers a frame of reference to invite each of the body's expressive centers to come into play: Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Laryngeal. The evocative playlist in Body of Movement beckons these centers to fully open us to connect with ourselves and each other. By bringing in the movement vocabulary of the Centers, we gain tools to move beyond our habitual patterns and attitudes.

She is a fabulous dancer and instructor, has the patience of a saint, and makes learning the dance such a fun experience! I started with her level one class and quickly moved on to add level two. We even get a couple of performance opportunities on a big stage every year. It is a great work out – I have even lost weight and toned muscles belly dancing. The other women in class are really fun and I have made some great friends here. Definitely recommend!

I have had the pleasure of dancing with this cool community of folks for 10 years, and am so happy that there is a such a beautiful space to dance, move and connect with other folks interested in wholistic health who inspire and support one another along the fun way! The studio is very welcoming and I find it to be a very supportive especially for first time guests! Lots of cool programming is available and coming and the colorful community of folks who support this place are super interesting! Check it out sometime! Nia is a really fun way to dance and move and let yourself chill out for a good hour while getting a great workout with fun folks! No dance experience required, Nia is super welcoming for every body and levels of fitness!!

Classes are scheduled at convenient times and the classrooms are very clean and spacious. I love coming here because the staff is so friendly. The service is amazing! The studio has a strong community following, which makes the atmosphere very welcoming.
