★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After more than 13 years away from dance, returning to class in my 30s has been a huge personal challenge. As a former dancer, I’m basically starting from scratch, and finding a place that understands and supports that journey has been truly invaluable.Professor Luis Tibocha has been incredibly professional and has shown a deep understanding of what this process means. The modern class is very good if you want to get in shape for dance!I also had the chance to have a beginner ballet class with instructor Dwain Travis and I truly loved it! He was patient, respectful, and fully dedicated to us learning the technique. I’m genuinely grateful for the support and care I’ve received since I started from each instructor but specially these two. Also, my youngest child has been here for just a few months and she absolutely loves it. Every week she looks forward to coming to class, which reassures me that this is a special place for both adults and children.I’d also love if, in the near future, the academy could consider adding a class more focused on something fun and full of movement, with tropical music. A class that’s more about dancing freely and joyfully with a great technique. I think it would be a wonderful complement to what’s already being offered.Although it’s only been a short time, it has already been a great experience. I’ll update this review in a few more months to add anything new that might come up.
July 31 · Nadia MedinaThis gem of a place is so welcoming to adults who want to explore dance. It is hard to find places that invite adults of all levels in a welcoming environment with professional instructors and beautiful choreography. I love the beginner contemporary with Mia, open hip hop with Whylan, and modern with Ashley. I still have so much more instructors to learn from and classes to explore. The professionalism at the school in how it treats its adult dancers is truly exceptional. You will feel welcome and it’s a safe space to grow and learn.
April 11 · Deepa AI have emailed countless times and called countless times and left messages about cancelling my monthly charge of $130. Every time I call they are closed. No one answers the phone so I leave messages. It's been almost 6 months and they have continued to charge my card. I am disputing the $780 with my bank now. Not fair. Not cool.
February 04 · Danielle DickProfessional environment for children and adults of all ages to benefit from the tremendous amount of talent, skill and knowledge the instructors have acquired from their many years of experience in the dance world. Also important the space is so clean and safe for all humans. Also a serious dedication to students who are on a path to a professional dance career.
June 18 · Christine WalletMy daughter dances full-time at the institute. The level of instruction and the dance instructors are top notch - I am always impressed with the “dance snippets/videos” the dance instructors share. There is a high level of professionalism between the dancers and the director and dance instructors. The tools used to maintain and communicate schedules are great, and I am very impressed with the studio protocols to keep the dancers and staff safe during these COVID times. Great studio!
