★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1After years of wishing I could return to ballet after a 30+ year "break"- I found a place where I feel comfortable and welcomed. The Director, Garance has done an amazing job cultivating a community of adult dancers. The moment I walked in for my first class back, Garance, herself met me at the door, gave me a tour and got to know me. l immediately felt comfortable. Garance's adult classes are focused not only on technique, but fun- I love her wry sense of humor which breaks up the stress of re-learning steps and combinations! I am so grateful The Ballet Center came up on my social feed- the Saturday morning classes are now a core and treasured part of my weekend routine. If you have been away from ballet for a while, or want to start for the first time, I can say with 100% confidence, THIS is the place to do it!
March 22 · Johanna CorcoranThe Ballet Center is wonderful! My daughter started there at 3 years old last summer during dance camp… then danced in her first show this June. She absolutely loves it there! Garance (director) and my daughters instructors have been wonderful. It truly is a dance family that everyone is a part of… even the tiniest of dancers!!
July 04 · Jennifer CotoiaWe can't say enough great things about The Ballet Center. My daughter has been taking classes for the past 6 years and continues to love the experience. Garance and her team of talented instructors offer challenging and supportive guidance. I am always impressed by the level of artistry, story telling, and technical ability showcased in the performances, along with the commitment to fostering community and positive body image. I've been enjoying the adult ballet class for a couple of years now and keep going back for a challenging creative workout with a lovely group of people.
July 29 · Cordy DawsonMy daughter has been dancing at The Ballet Center for the past five years since the age of 3. The instructors are so amazing with kids and young adults of all ages. It truly feels like an extended family. I have taken adult ballet as well loving every minute. We have had guests of the shows comment over and over on how professionally done and captivating the shows are. Garance and the other instructors do such a wonderful job letting everyone shine in their own way while instilling so many valuable life lessons including the importance of commitment and dedication. We have loved to watch all of the students grow and develop their skills over the years - a true testament to Garance and the staff. Every year before registering her I ask my daughter if she wants to commit to dance again and every year she enthusiastically says yes! If you are considering signing your child/children (or yourself!) up for something this fall I cannot say enough about how highly we recommend The Ballet Center!!!
July 02 · Nicole LangMy daughter has been going to The Ballet Center for the past six years and she absolutely LOVES it. Despite the fact that we moved to another town, we still make the trip to The Ballet Center 3-4 times a week because it is so worth it.Miss Garance, who owns the studio, teaches dance and the students love her. She is classically trained, teaches the students the foundations of dance, has lots of fun with the little kids with sticker charts and fun tutus, and the costumes for the recitals will blow you away.Garance’s daughter, Anneke, is also a teacher at the studio and she is just as talented as her mother. The choreography she creates is out of this world, and the concepts she creates for the show get better and better each year. The Ballet Center is like a family. My daughter looks forward to dance each and every day she has class. She’s made so many friends, she’s become so close with her teachers and loves them so much, and has become so passionate and excited about dance (which also keeps her off of screens for hours!).If you’re looking for a dance studio, look no further. I could not recommend The Ballet Center enough. You will thank me when you see the amazing performances these kids put on at their recitals, as well as the handmade, delicate and beautiful costumes and the care and love the teachers have for your child/children.
