Arts in Motion Community Youth Theater Arts Education, Inc. Introduce
For parents and students across Central Florida, particularly in Pasco County and the surrounding areas, Arts in Motion Community Youth Theater Arts Education, Inc. (A.I.M.) is a celebrated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the performing and visual arts. Since its formation in 1995, A.I.M. has served as a vital cultural resource in Dade City, providing children in kindergarten through 12th grade with invaluable educational and entertaining experiences in a community where similar professional opportunities are scarce.
A.I.M.’s mission is deeply rooted in holistic student development. Beyond the fundamentals of acting, singing, and dancing, the organization strives to help students build essential life skills. Participants gain tremendous confidence, stimulate their creativity, and develop crucial teamwork and collaborative skills—benefits that extend far beyond the stage and into their school careers and adult lives. The welcoming and professional nature of the organization is frequently praised by local families who see A.I.M. as a supportive "second home" for their children.
The organization’s commitment to quality is evident in its regular production schedule, which includes a full-scale musical each Fall and Spring. To maximize opportunities for local talent, A.I.M. often double-casts roles, ensuring that more children have the chance to hold a lead position within a show. This level of dedication, supported by a hands-on Board of Directors and a passionate team of volunteers, makes Arts in Motion a pillar of youth arts education in the Florida region.
Arts in Motion Community Youth Theater Arts Education, Inc. is centrally located in Dade City, Florida, making it a convenient hub for families in Pasco County. The primary location details are:

The facility is situated in a key area of Dade City and is known to be highly accommodating to all members of the community, adhering to important Florida standards for public facilities:

As a comprehensive performing arts group, Arts in Motion offers a variety of programs designed for children in K-12, providing pathways for both casual participation and intensive study:

- Non-Profit Arts Education: All activities fall under the umbrella of a 501(c)(3) non-profit mission, ensuring that the focus remains entirely on educational and community benefit rather than commercial profit.
- Visual Arts Opportunities: While primarily a theater group, the organization embraces the broader mission of “arts education,” often integrating visual arts into set design, costuming, and production elements.
- Teamwork and Collaboration Training: A foundational element of all programming, focusing on teaching students how to work effectively as an ensemble to achieve a complex, shared goal.
Arts in Motion's enduring success in the Florida arts community is due to several standout features:
- Commitment to Accessibility: The organization ensures all facilities utilized for core activities, including the Dade City rehearsal space and the PHSC performance venue, are Wheelchair accessible, making it genuinely inclusive.

This gives young performers a taste of professional theater production values.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was a wonderful experience meeting and greeting the A.I.M. Team. My family and I are looking forward to becoming a part of their welcoming team. We appreciate their time during our visit and everyone that we had the opportunity to meet.
May 16 · Robert Poole Sr. (Rob)Great organization for your performing arts child. My son was a part of AIM for 6 1/2 years and he loved it. Great local place and performances are at the beautiful IPAC at PHSC.
February 26 · Richard HeymanI definetly got treated differently here and developed an eating disorder with the first show I did because a girl named Megan would tell me I was too fat to play a role. The shows were definetly fun to do and once you find friends it's not that bad. There were a lot of rumors about the male and female staff having inappropriate relationships with some if the underage members so I would just be weary when placing your kid here.
April 04 · Brianna DiasThis theatre group is run by moms, not theatre people. The directors they have can be fabulous if you're lucky, but the people running it have no clue how to treat a kid that's not perfect. So run far if your kid doesn't make friends easily, has social anxiety, depression or anything on spectrum. Or even you, they want perfect moms who aren't sarcastic or fun to be around. I wish I had listened to others who warned me. It's great, if you're like them. You'll have no problems.
February 18 · LilyAn amazing place to allow your kids to learn about theatre and get a chance to perform on stage. Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend!!!
