I brought my daughter to get her competition costume altered. The fitting process was incredibly smooth and the staff took the time to ensure my daughter’s costume fit perfectly, paying close attention to every detail. She was patient, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about clothing alterations. My daughter felt comfortable and at ease throughout the fitting, which made the whole process easier and enjoyable for both of us.

I had my wedding dress altered here. To say it was a horrible experience was an understatement. I was grateful that someone was willing to do my dress in Lynchburg and my friend had her dress done here and recommended her. I dropped off my dress the first week of April and between then and when I got my dress it was a nightmare. There were texts that got no response no answers to phone calls or she would call me from a different number so I didn’t know it was her. She said she would call never did. Finally, got ahold of her and we scheduled my SECOND FITTING FOR JUNE. JUNE! I dropped off my dress in April and wasn’t able to try it on again until June. All I needed was the straps taken up, it taken in around my waist and a bustle. All she did was the straps and the bustle and I didn’t get my dress back until June 9th. Our appointment was set for June 6th at 1 pm and I showed up and she was confused as to why I was there bc she forgot ab the appointment. There was no apology all she said was “oh my gosh I’m cringing” “I just had a pageant and it slipped my mind” my dress was dropped off in April and after having all of these issues it should have taken priority over a pageant ESPECIALLY w the fact that I was supposed to have already had my second fitting in May. So I had to leave and come back bc my dress was once again not so I came back two days later and it was done but the waist was not taken in. I had no one with me and had no idea how to even handle that situation bc I had to leave to drive 3.5 hours home which she knew. I am now getting my dress fixed a week before my wedding which is July 12. I still paid her for the service 280$ for a simple bustle and strap take up. I paid and left. Nothing about the service or lack there of should have cost much. It was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional interaction and I will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone. My dress still does not fit properly. The bustle and straps look fine so luckily the dress is not ruined but I am now paying an arm and a leg for more alterations after paying 280$ already. She offered no compensation, no apology, nothing. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere they care about the customers. SIDE NOTE: She also had a customer who came in and very evidently had special needs and while I was in there told me how bad she smelled and acted. I was mortified.UPDATE: I took my dress somewhere else to have the waist taken in and it was done in 6 days and cost much less. It is also a reputable tailor in Virginia Beach. Go somewhere else for alterations.

Went there during posted business hours and no one was there. I called the number listed and let them know the store was closed. My family and I took advantage of the time and went out to eat, when we came back the store was open.It was pretty busy with one employee there. She took time with each customer, which made it a little aggravating when we had been basically in town for hours waiting to get into the store and get what we needed to buy. I'm not going to lie, I get impatient at times, my husband was fine with waiting.However, for me, it was worth it. We ended up being the last customers in the store due to closing time (Saturday hours are short), and the employee spent lots of time with us, and my daughter got what she needed for her dance class. She tried on multiple outfits and picked the ones she liked the most. We did not feel rushed and the employee was very sweet.I am currently recommending people in my daughter's dance class to come to the store for needed supplies, but to just be patient if there are lots of customers there. The wait is worth it.

This is our first year of dance! We didn't know what to expect. We were greeted immediately at the door. She engaged great with my daughter and got her shoes fitted immediately. She had a list of the schools' attires which made everything that much more efficient! Best first experience ever!

These ladies we nothing but professional and so so helpful from start to finish! They were super sweet to my little girl....finding the right tap shoe for her foot was challenging but they never stopped until the perfect fit was found! I am sure things are cheaper online but their service is exceptional so I will definetly be back...if I ordered online I would have run into problems!
