Cary-Grove Performing Arts Centre Introduce
For families in the Illinois suburbs seeking a vibrant and nurturing environment for their children to explore the performing arts, Cary-Grove Performing Arts Centre (CGPAC) stands as a premier destination. Located in Cary, this women-owned studio has been a pillar of the community since 1999, offering a diverse array of classes in dance, music, and theatre all under one roof. What sets CGPAC apart is its unwavering commitment to creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere where students not only learn and hone their skills but also build confidence, develop discipline, and forge lasting friendships. The sentiment of a customer who expressed how happy they were with their daughter’s experience, saying she has "grown so much as a dancer and student," is a powerful testament to the studio's success.
CGPAC is more than a place for lessons; it's a second home and a supportive family for its students. As one parent noted, the instructors are "so good at what they do and create a positive environment for the kids." This focus on holistic development is a core part of their philosophy. Students are taught proper technique in an encouraging way, ensuring they learn the value of hard work and perseverance. The studio is not a competition-focused environment, which allows all students to grow at their own pace and simply enjoy the art form. This approach is what makes the recitals and performances so special—they are a celebration of each student's journey and achievements, a point of pride for both dancers and their families.
Conveniently located at 21 Jandus Rd in Cary, IL, CGPAC is easily accessible to residents throughout the area. The studio’s location provides a hassle-free experience with its practical accessibility features. It offers a free parking lot, ensuring that parents and students can find a spot easily without the added stress of street parking. For those who prefer or need other options, there is also free street parking available. This thoughtful provision makes coming to and from class a breeze, allowing the focus to remain on the performing arts.
Beyond parking, the studio is designed with a strong focus on inclusivity and accessibility. It features a wheelchair-accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, and even a wheelchair-accessible restroom. These amenities demonstrate a clear commitment to ensuring that every individual, regardless of their physical abilities, feels welcome and can comfortably participate in the classes and activities offered. The studio also has gender-neutral restrooms, reinforcing its status as a safe and welcoming space for all. This dedication to creating an environment that is physically and socially inclusive is a key highlight that sets CGPAC apart from many other performing arts schools in the region.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My daughter has been at CGPAC for most of her childhood and we have been very happy there. The instructors are so good at what they do and create a positive environment for the kids. Best of all, the two recitals they put on each year are top-notch. We love seeing our daughter on stage each year, dancing and having fun with her friends. This year her Hip Hop teacher, Mr. Christian, even made a cameo in their recital number which was so cute!
December 24 · Cheryl RaeMy daughter has been dancing at CGPAC for the last 6 years and it’s been a wonderful experience. She has grown so much as a dancer and student. Her teachers have all been amazing creating an environment where they are learning proper dance technique in an encouraging and positive way. With so many different styles of dance available there is something for any age at CGPAC!
October 09 · Jessica HopkinsMy daughter danced at CGPAC for 15 years and had a wonderful experience. She started taking classes when she was 3 and never stopped. The instructors were warm, and knowledgeable and genuinely embraced the abilities of all students. CGPAC offers a variety of dance and technique classes, swing choir and theater classes, singing lessons, yoga, and adult classes. The staff, teachers, and owners are professional and set attainable goals for their students. CGPAC not only taught my daughter dance but also allowed her to enhance her leadership skills and learn healthy discipline. CGPAC has an excellent reputation for building strong dancers and they brought out the best in my daughter. We highly recommend CGPAC for anyone wanting to try a new studio. This studio is suitable for dancers at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. We loved CGPAC!
August 09 · Gina AdamsMy daughter started at CGPAC as a tiny toddler and has continued for multiple years. She loves it there! The staff is warm and friendly with knowledgeable teachers and helpful assistants. Learning and technique is clearly important, but they don't lose focus on a positive environment and building friendships. The recitals twice a year are hectic but so worth it- my daughter always comes away glowing with joy. This is a heartfelt, small but mighty studio!
November 05 · Kelly JohnsonBeing that I never danced growing up, when my daughter first started at CGPAC I felt a bit overwhelmed. Everyone from her teachers to Miss Amy herself have made the two years she's been dancing so easy! They always have answers to questions, no matter how small they may be, and they always share pointers that I wouldn't otherwise know to make my daughter's experience as easy and stress-free as possible. I highly recommend CGPAC! We've had a truly wonderful experience so far, and expect to continue to do so for years to come!
