A reviewer praised the studio for its fairness, reasonable pricing, and its policy of not discriminating against anyone. They also noted that the studio "makes you feel like you're a part of their family." This emphasis on building a supportive community, rather than just a place to take classes, is what makes the experience truly special for many families. While not every experience may be the same, as is the case with any business, the positive feedback on its inclusivity and community-focused approach is a strong indicator of its values. They never discriminate against anyone and they charge a reasonable amount for classes. They are not only a great studio to put your kids at but they also make you feel like your apart of their family. This studio has classes to accommodate everyone. Best dance studio to put your child at. Don't settle for any other dance studio because you won't have a good experience neither will your child have a fun time. They have the best teachers and they actually teach dance.
July 11 · LisaWe went to the open house today and I said hello when I walked in at the time I didn’t know who she was , she was wearing a pink shirt I knew she was a part of the staff and now looking more into it it was in fact the owner. She looked at me and completely ignored me and continued to talk to a teen who had walked in behind me. Immediate red flag for me. The class for the 2.5-5 year old had just began so we walked to find the class where all the parents were sitting at. After the class was over I decided to grab some souvenirs off the table that they had out for us to grab items from and all of a sudden the lady in the pink shirt ( the owner ) appears directly where we’re at and she just stood there to watch what we were grabbing off the table. She never said a word to us the entire time , no smile, nothing. I was going to sign my daughter up but after that experience I’d rather not. I’ll take her to the dance studio down the street. Btw , I’m a black woman so maybe that’s why I was treated differently than everyone else who all were ( white and arab ) Yeah I know it’s sad that prejudice /racism exists but it does…I took a picture of my daughter in front of the building when we walked out and look who’s in the background starring right at us. She definitely did not make me feel welcomed here at all. I brought my daughter here for the open house a few years ago when she was 3 but she wasn’t ready back then so I didn’t sign her up and decided to bring her back now that she’s older (5) and I remember the same woman looking at me the same way years ago.. same exact feeling/experience. Awful.
August 19 · Sally CooperWe had to pick up a recital dress that we had to even though our daughter decided to drop out of the class. They wrote the word “quitter” next to her name on the package and she saw it and what it said. How do you explain to a 5 year old that people that are supposed to guide and support her are calling her a quitter? As a parent, it's disheartening to witness a dance school that fails to nurture and support young children. Earlier this year my five-year-old daughter recently expressed her decision to stop attending classes at Jeannie Zimbalatti's School of Dance, and the response from the staff was appalling.Instead of understanding her perspective and offering encouragement to pursue other interests, they labeled her as a "quitter." This not only undermines her confidence at an age where it is so important to have a support system, but also demonstrated a lack of empathy and professionalism on their part. It's crucial for any school to create a positive and supportive environment for young people, fostering their love for whatever it is they decide to do, rather than resorting to negative labels.I urge Jeannie Zimbalatti's School of Dance to reevaluate their approach to handling such situations and prioritize the emotional well-being of their students. Every child deserves to feel respected and supported, regardless of their decisions. The worst part is that she wanted to go back in the fall and try a different class.
May 02 · Henry KarawanGo to a dance school in canton or westland. They over charge and when I asked why did I have to pay for a month that my daughter didn't attend I was never given an answer just instructions on how to pay THATS RIDICULOUS. Good thing I read these reviews and knew they would over charge, thank goodness I didn't put a card on file or they would've gotten me too! Lol JOIN DANCE CONNECTION
July 07 · Diamond RobinsonThe best dance studio ever!! This studio makes sure students learn the proper technique needed to thrive through dance. They offer many different dance styles and they are the sweetest. Many dance studios around the same area are very RUDE and don’t teach kids the right technique and movement needed to be a successful dancer. They have a AMAZING competition team. The teachers work so hard on making sure the students are ready for competitions and they truly care. They are the students biggest supports. The owner herself is a wonderful human and she’s the definition of the nicest person. Bring your kids to this studio because it’s the only dance studio that’s worth your money and time.
