Padma Sonti Garu is highly skilled , understands kids temperaments, and she builds on kids strengths while helping them learn about beautifully art form.My children who went through the class have wonderful memories of amazing recitals and costumes. She is true to the Kuchipudi art form and teaches it with utmost dedication.Padma Sonti Garu provides lots of opportunities through out the year to showcase kids talents. Students get to see performances of Graduating seniors and the gives them inspiration to achieve.Pre covid, we had teachers from India conduct workshops to help us refine our skills.As a parent, I enjoy the wonderful dedicated parents who are involved. Cant wait for my youngest child to join the team !

Let me begin by saying that I am not even remotely qualified to review Smt. Padma Sonti garu, for the great guru she is. I am delighted to share our experience with her, hoping it would help anyone considering enrolling their kids in Kuchipudi Kalakshetra.Our journey with Guru Smt. Padma garu started in August 2016 with our first child enrolled and three years later, our second child joined. We consider ourselves blessed to be able to send our kids to her to learn Kuchipudi. Discipline, commitment, perseverance has all been some of the by-products in their journey of learning this beautiful dance form from her so far. The learning is all structured, easy to follow along and practice. All she ever asks of her students is just a few minutes of practice each day or a few days a week which isn’t much in grand scheme of things. You would be amazed to see how this little commitment from these kids turns in to a wonderful talent.She is extremely patient with the kids, considerate and truly wants them to flourish. As the kids grow older, get in to the middle school and high school, "Padma Aunty" as the kids lovingly call her, is seemingly even friendlier, with whom they love having a good laugh with. Above all, she is an expert in her craft given the artistic lineage of her gurus. She has been teaching dance in DFW area for over 25 years, which speaks volumes about her commitment and dedication to keep this art form alive. We have never seen any commercial aspect to any of this. It’s just pure passion and learning. It all feels very organic.Besides just the annual day performances, kids get a lot of opportunities to perform at various events throughout the year. The ballets they get to perform in, are top notch, opportunities for the kids to participate in true fund raising as well as volunteering. Every event by Kuchipudi Kalakshetra is visually stunning with high production values. Over the years, we have watched several kids perform their ranga pravesams which all proved to be beautiful events showcasing the talent they have acquired under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Padma garu for years.We have nothing but immense respect for Guru Smt. Padma garu, for all she does. We are excited to see our kids continue their dance journey with her and hope they cherish this gift from her for a lifetime. I wouldn’t think twice to enroll kids in Kuchipudi Kalakshetra. We are glad we did.
