August 16 · Rebecca YenawineMorton Street Dance Center is absolutely amazing. My daughter just finished her third dance season and loves it. They create such a warm, nurturing and safe environment for our children to learn new skills and be apart of a truly special community.
June 03 · Jessica PiusHi Morton!Dance has been going well this season thus far! I honestly feel like Drew is gaining the knowledge and technique needed to advance her dance skills. She truly is excited to come to dance every class and even practice at home. All the feedback I have received from Drew has made my heart smile. The Nutcracker blew my mind! Never in a million years would I have expected my 11-year-old to be dancing at this level, and I genuinely thank Morton Street for pouring into Drew.Drew is resilient, and I would love to see her pushed to the max. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on how Drew can advance her skills and become the dancer that she truly inspires to be.Drew admired dance at Baby. I don't know if you remember Drew admiring the dancers while she was in a carrier. Ha ha. She even sat behind the stage watching tech rehearsals on Ms. Donna’s lap. She loves to dance, she loves friendships, and most importantly, she's gaining the discipline needed to navigate through this world.Although this mama is tired, lol, I love seeing her do what she truly loves—dancing!
December 20 · Deanna DenisFrom the beginning of our MSDC journey, we have had an experience like none other. A few years ago when we were researching dance programs we didn’t know much but were sure that we wanted one that would focus on technique and really giving young dancers a solid foundation and Morton Street has been that and so much more.We are in our 3rd season with MSDC and couldn’t be more pleased with our daughter’s progress and growing LOVE for dance. She has always been a little lover of movement but the way the instructors have honed in on her skills and ignited a passion for dance in her has been incredible to witness. We have really enjoyed that there is a class “pathway” that each dancer must follow that isn’t solely based on age but also inclusive of skill and ability. Our now 6 year old started out with the Summer program in 2022 as a way for us to try things out and we quickly committed to the fall season after seeing the care and attention provided by everyone we encountered at MSDC. Having Ms. Shaela as her first instructor was truly a Godsend. She helped foster a zeal for dancing in Caris that was honestly contagious to witness. We continued for a second season where she soaked in so much more technique and gained a world of confidence which led us to her 3rd and current season. She has now progressed to taking Ballet and Modern classes simultaneously and while it took her a few weeks to build her stamina for back to back classes lol she is really thriving. Ms. Donna gives such great care and attention to teaching the children in Ballet and Caris talks about class and her teacher nonstop. She has learned so much over the past 3 years and we are grateful for the dedication and support of all the staff and instructors to get her to this point. We know that having MSDC as her foundation will cause her to go far in her future dance endeavors.Simply put, we absolutely LOVE Morton Street Dance Center, Ms.Donna and her outstanding leadership, all the instructors and staff and the amazing community that is fostered when you’re part of the MSDC family.
December 30 · Cierra HBoth of my girls dance at Morton Street and they LOVE everything about it. It’s more than just a dance school. It’s a community, a family, and a place where they flourish and learn to love the art of dance and how to nourish their craft.
