★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My daughters have been attending for several years, and this year my 4-year-old son just finished his first year. This is truly the most supportive and professional dance school I’ve seen. The teachers are so caring and dedicated to creating a positive environment, and Mrs. Wheeler is the most loving and generous director. Her full-length ballets are incredible! This school gives kids the tools to become professional dancers if they choose, but also the discipline and confidence to succeed in any path they take. We feel so blessed to be part of this amazing school.
May 30 · Tahsia O'KeefeEDIT: Changed this to four stars. After the season ended, the director contacted me personally and had a long phone conversation to hear my issues. She was understanding and owned the communication issues and advised of changes that they will be making for the following season to help address my concerns. Class act. I know of few people who are open to criticism and willing to incorporate feedback to improve their program. Absolutely no ego - just interest in being better for the students. The classes themselves are fine, but the communication is poor. Parents of children in the little classes have minimal communication with the Director or even the teacher. The Spring Performance has an added 5 days of practice/rehearsals over 2 weeks, the times of which are announced a week before. If your child doesn't or can't attend, they won't be able to participate in the performance. This is communicated once on page 6 of a 7 page handbook and never mentioned again until the month of the performance, 8 months after you start. It's almost like the administration/staff communicate frequently with parents of the older children or members of the "Guild" and assume the other parents know what's going on. Then they act as if this information has been repeated every week since you started when you inevitably realize that you missed something. It's a shame because I like the other parents. The staff seem kind. But if you don't already have connections in the more advanced classes, be aware that you'll need to be very proactive in getting information.
June 16 · Stephanie GradyWhy did my daughter had to be treated like she didn’t belong? Why didn’t Mrs. Wheeler tells us from the beginning that we are not welcome in her establishment instead of letting us spend money on ballet shoes and recital clothes when she was going to embarrass her by giving her spot to another level when comes recital. Was it race or religion in 2025?In 2025, where suicide and depression are going rampant, your goal should not be to crush teenage girls’ self esteem.
April 21 · Fabienne DesirThis school could’ve been organized better. No make-up class or refund if kids will be absent or the class is temporarily canceled. No text or email reminders have ever been sent to parents for important dates or rehearsals. We are going to MyGym in Lake Mary as they have more feasibility and various classes.
May 19 · mel CamWe just saw the Nutcracker and the dancing skills were on a professional level. Excellent costumes. Proud parents in the audience made the show buzz with excitement. Missed more set pieces and having all the dancers in stage at once but understandable with a smaller stage. Would see again. So much fun and great work by the dancers.
