★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our daughter has been Irish dancing since she was 8 years old and I must say that enrolling her at Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance has been one the BEST things that we have ever done for her. Mrs. Amanda and Mr. Peter are such outstanding teachers! They know their stuff and they always come super prepared to teach all the students. It always amazes me how they know each of the kids' dance steps inside and out! What's awesome is that the dances aren't set in stone. They always include the kids in the process, which is amazing! When my daughter was learning her slip jig, Mrs. Amanda and Mr. Peter would always talk to her about it (the steps, the moves, etc). They would ask for her opinions and they would take it into consideration. My daughter feels like she's part of the process of developing her dancing and it just helps her confidence and feeling like she "owns" her dancing. My daughter has also grown by leaps and bounds in her confidence since she joined Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance when they opened two years ago. Mrs. Amanda and Mr. Peter are constant professionals, they engage the parents, and are always wanting the best for our dancers. I could not ask for better teacher and ROLE MODELS for my daughter! Thank you, Mrs. Amanda and Mr. Peter!
August 27 · Lynn HansenMy daughter has been taking lessons here for 5 years. The instructors are kind, intentional, and supportive. They set clear expectations for their dancers and encourage them to reach their individual goals. My daughter's confidence has increased as a result of their love over the years. Amanda and Peter have been to almost every competition my daughter has attended and are there to cheer her on through the highs and lows of competitive Irish dance. Their dedication is unmatched. Amanda is professional and organized. She is excellent at communicating with parents, both in person and through email/text. She has taken every possible precaution to ensure safety for her dancers during Covid-19, and I feel completely safe in sending my daughter to class. I can't imagine what we would do without Amanda and Peter. Carpenter Irish Dance is like family to us!
July 17 · Mandy YoungThe instructors are fantastic! We love how they use coaching styles of teaching! My daughter has learned so much in 3 years and is having a lot of fun! They also were very proactive with getting COVID standards in place, And having all the kids and parents informed and prepared as well. I definitely recommend them!
July 28 · lisa goadMy daughter has been dancing with Carpenter for a little over 4 years. Ms. Amanda and Mr. Peter are such fantastic teachers. They really care about each of their students, regardless of their dance level. Not only has my daughter gained a love for Irish dance but she has also learned life skills such as goal setting and how to be a team player. We are thankful for this studio!!
December 12 · Salena DonnellyThe CAID studio is friendly and welcoming to all levels of Irish dance. Amanda’s and Peter’s talents complement each other so well. Their skills, beyond their own incredible abilities to dance, are in their encouragement to a dancer’s potential, and in the attention they give to fit a dance to the level of each student. They teach with a passion towards a high degree of dance decorum, which is evident in the beautiful performances of the dancers, whether at competitions or local event celebrations.
