From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with positivity and encouragement. Áine is an amazing instructor. She has a gift for breaking down moves in a way that’s easy to understand, while pushing you to challenge yourself and feel confident on the pole. The studio itself is clean, well-equipped, and has such a great vibe. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, the classes cater to all levels, and you leave feeling strong, accomplished, and inspired. On top of that, Áine and her team go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and supported. If you’re looking for a fantastic workout, a creative outlet, or a supportive community, this is the place to be. I’m so grateful to have had the chance to experience Polemic, and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!
January 02 · Oregon State University CHAARG Event CoordinatorI had a great time! Polemic was generous enough to host our fitness and wellness club for a few events. They were so great to work with and lead some amazing classes!
January 02 · Jenna PriceAfter thinking things over for a while, I have decided I have to share my experience with this studio for the greater good. Pole fitness has been a part of my life for around 2+ years and after a move I was so excited to find a new studio. I couldn’t find any instructor certification info on Polemic’s website, but I went anyway. The intro classes were fun, super inclusive and a lovely vibe but the instructors weren’t well versed in safety and unable to respond to several student questions. The real issue came when I took an intermediate class with the owner who, while spotting me, did not listen to me asking to get down. I was capable of what she was asking, but my hand slipped and I wasn’t comfortable continuing. She held on and pushed me in a way that was deeply uncomfortable and I no longer feel safe in this studio. It seems like the instructors are students who have been there a while which no sort of formal training.
May 05 · Ainsley PrattThe customer service i received was very good overall and the instruction is also pretty good depending on the class. The opportunity:the availability of different classes are very limited and they don't offer half of what they advertise they do.The quality of instruction will vary based on the instructor which is no surprise there. The studio itself is poorly set up. The mirror in front of you to see yourself isn't one continuous mirror it has breaks inbetween at the worst places, so depending what pole you get stuck with, you get a distorted or only half reflection of yourself. The app they advise you to download in order to register for classes isn't user friendly at all, its a bit of a hassle to book and view previous or upcoming appointments on it. All I was able to view were cancelled appointments.
