★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We can't say enough good things about Ms. Christy and Cast & Crowns! Our daughters, Madison and Lillian, absolutely adore her. Ms. Christy's bubbly personality and passion for dance shine through in every class, and the girls always leave with smiles on their faces. Not only is she a fantastic teacher, but she's also incredibly supportive and understanding. Ms. Christy is flexible with payment options and offers scholarship opportunities, making dance accessible to everyone. It's clear that she cares deeply about her students and the community. We're so grateful to have found Cast & Crowns – it's more than just a dance studio; it's a place where our girls feel loved, encouraged, and inspired.
November 05 · Chris GrubsI rarely leave reviews, but after our experience with this dance studio, I feel compelled to share. There is no set structure or a business model. Money is always missing or the wrong price for dances were calculated. Refunds of money took months to receive and were always met with resistance due to the lack of funds the studio has. Peter was robbed to pay Paul. The owner purposely withheld a decision for two months to not invite back a dancer because she was vocal about how unorganized the studio is and lack of instruction was there. All the dancer wanted was to be the best at her craft and was denied the opportunity because it clashed with the owner. This decision being postponed purposefully withheld the student from trying out at another dance studio hindering her competition career. The coaching was wildly inconsistent—one week, the kids were praised, the next, they were scolded for the same thing. Several key competitions were abruptly canceled, not for the benefit of the dancers, but due to the owner having to take care of her husband when other coaches are capable of handling the dance team. Competitions have been missed due to the owner missing the deadline to have applications placed in order for dancers to dance. There is no set schedule of what competitions are being attended. If a competition is being attended, it is roughly put out a month in advance so have to scramble to take time off, find hotels, and plan for child care. It's heartbreaking to see talented kids work so hard only to be sidelined by adult selfishness.Costumes are always late and are most of the time being altered the week of competition. Multiple times costumes have been brought to the competition without the dancers trying them on prior to their competition.Even more disturbing were the multiple screaming matches in the parking lot involving the owner with her own dancers, staff, and shockingly, in front of children. This is not a safe or emotionally healthy environment for any young dancer. To top it off, the studio claims to be a non-profit, yet tuition and fees keep climbing, clearly trying to compete with higher-end studios rather than focusing on what’s best for the kids or remaining accessible to the community. If you're looking for a studio that values professionalism, stability, and the well-being of your child, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

March 25 · Samantha EllisWhere do I begin? How about WOW! My daughter Makyleigh and I went to Cast and Crowns to try out their homeschool class. We were heartbroken and weary about leaving her previous studio but it was no longer a good fit for her. From the very first second we were welcomed with open and accepting arms. During that class we officially transferred over from her previous studio. I say “we” because while my daughter is the dancer, they truly and fully took me in as well. She made new friends day one and by day two had multiple parents approach not only me but my eight year old child telling her how completely excited they were to have her there. The morning of day two I was told if I wanted I could get a white sweatshirt so she could wear it to a performance that they had that weekend so she could feel like she was part of the group, they even took and put their logo on it. That night she was introduced to the rest of the performance company and troupe, given a team buddy at the same time as the rest of the girls, and was allowed to stand in and learn the dance they would be performing. After class I was told (much to my surprise), “we want her to dance in the show in two days”. As can be expected I was a nervous wreck. She was given thirty to forty-five minutes to learn a dance and then asked to perform. I voiced my concerns and her new teacher “Celeste” was able to come help her clean it Friday night before the performance on Saturday. During that first initial meeting on day one I spoke with the owner and creative director “Christy” and I told her our story. I told Christy that my daughter came from a competitive team and while we fully understood the team was made for this year and the choreography was done we wanted to know if she thought we would be a good fit for her troupe next year because competition was our ultimate goal and we wanted to be a good fit before we committed. She watched my daughter in those first two homeschool classes and we signed up after that. In order to give my daughter the ability to still compete this year she was told she would be able to do a solo. I told Christy the song that Makyleigh wanted to dance to and she was hesitant. To say the least it is a very popular song in the dance community. I told her she is the expert and we will do what she wants. Christy chose three beautiful songs for Makyleigh to choose from and while she did love one of them she said “Mrs. Christy, what about the Mountain song”. Mrs Christy looked at me and said you were serious. I said the girl knows what she wants. Mrs. Christy asked why she wanted the “Mountain song”. Makyleigh said that at her very first studio before we moved to Tennessee she did a combo to it (her recital dance when she was three years old) and absolutely fell in love with it and since then always dreamed for that to be her first solo. Well, how do you deny an answer like that. I was previously told Makyleigh didn’t have the lines to be a lyrical dancer and here we are dancing a lyrical number to “The Climb”. All of my baby girl’s dreams are coming true because one person said yes. It took a full month of my daughter being at Cast and Crowns four to five nights a week for her to not look like a deer in headlights whenever she was told that she was amazing and was doing amazing. The joy and confidence that she radiates now is immeasurable and has been noticed by so many of her friends and their parents. While I feel like we have been fully accepted and immersed into this family I can’t wait to see what the future holds for both of us.If you are looking for acceptance, fulfillment, joy, value, love, or just a place to belong then look no further. Welcome to Cast and Crowns and Welcome Home!
December 29 · Ashley JohnsonAfter moving out here from California, my daughter and I struggled to find a dance studio she loved as much as the one she attended out there. When I came across cast and crowns website we decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did. I would recommend this dance studio 10 out of 10! The quality of instruction Mrs. Christy offers is second to none! This studio truly encompasses everything we were searching for and more! Not only do they offer a great dance program, but they also offer drama, singing and more!
