★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I danced professionally and now my daughter loves dancing too! The classes at CMB are challenging, educational, technical, and so positive. It’s a great environment for serious dancers who want to go professional, have fun, make friends in the arts and that’s why I signed my 9 year old daughter up for this professional program. Their summer programs also enhance their year round training brining in dancers from all over.
June 18 · Celia Pierquet FloresMy daughter started with Central Midwest Ballet about a year ago in the junior division and has made an enormous leap not only in her technique but her general love for ballet. The teachers are well trained in proper technique and take the time to teach and correct each student. Each student also progresses individually and they can get what they put in to their training. One of my favorite parts are the custom costumes that are made by the staff and parent volunteers. They are high quality and altered to reused for performances and different dancers. This also means that they don’t charge a crazy expensive costume fee for any performances. The community is also really special. With many parent volunteer opportunities, it helps facilitate new connections. We have made so many friends in one year!In general I feel we get more than we bargain for in high quality ballet training, quality performance opportunities, and a kind community.
June 26 · Jenny BoysenOur daughter loved her time and training at Central Midwest Ballet. Extremely hard working, dedicated and talented instructors. Amazing each year to see how much our dancer grew and improved. CMB offers serious classical ballet training with the fun of a great group of dancers and high caliber performance opportunities!
August 11 · Kelly KickMy daughter has been dancing since she was 3. CMB was her second dance school as she aged out of her first. We love the staff and atmosphere of the school. My daughter is small for her age and she has gained so much from dance both physically and mentally. She has great muscle tone and flexibility and is quite strong. Dance has boosted her self confidence and self esteem. The environment and focus on technique of this school is amazing!
July 01 · Joan HareI am very impressed with the wonderful way dancers are accepted, taught and cared for at this studio. My son has been dancing since he was 8, and is now a Senior in HS. He plans on dance as a career, and really wanted more ballet technique. He had taken a few drop in classes at CMB and was impressed with the quality of teachers and how comfortable he felt. He is now enrolled in weekly classes and some private lessons, and feels great improvement in his technique, in a very short time. The staff are awesome, engaging and dedicated to the dancers. I love that they listen to what the dance wants and trust that the dancer knows themselves better than anyone. I highly recommend Central Midwest Ballet!
