Main Street Dance Academy Reviews
For Kayla at dance camp 2024. I tried to do this privately but I have not received any emails or phone calls back since Friday 7/26 today is 7/30. My daughter started dance winter of 2024 everything and everyone were great. She loves going here, she received a sticker everyday, which was told to me, was from doing a good job.Signed her up for dance camp and a lady named Kayla seemed to be picking on my daughter. Second day Kayla scolded my 5 year old about spilling water, my daughter said sorry it was an accident and was scolded some more about bringing a plastic water bottle. Which I am the one who packed it as I have all year no one as said anything different as a mother of one didn't know the law about bringing a reusable cup, again that was my fault as the mother and that should've been brought up to me not to make my daughter feel like that was her fault, as accidents do happen with everyone. The rest of the 3 days that were left I packed her a reusable cup. Friday my daughter told me that Kayla poked my daughter on the nose on purpose, that left a scab on her face , the mark resembles a perfect nail mark like it was meant to be poke, hard enough to leave a scab for 4 days now. If this was an accident by Kayla this scratch mark would look much different. I tried to get some answers, hear Kayla's side of the story, but there has been no answer. The back door was slammed shut, as I looked back after my daughter told me what happened. I knocked on the door and waited but no one answered. Like she was hiding. This app doesn't support pictures of the perfect nail mark on her nose but I have plenty of pictures to show. Now I am left with a decision to take my daughter out of upcoming fall dance classes as she loves so much as is already paid for, shoes, tights, in all, punish my daughter for doing the right thing and telling me what happened as an autistic child, it took years for her to be able to even get to this point of telling me when things happen to her like this or about her day period. As I've been teaching her since 3 yrs old. So one day I feel comfortable enough to leave her out of my sight, as main street dance academy was strongly recommended and I met muss Lindsey and she made me feel safe to do so, and everyone else was so nice, friendly and helpful to my daughter. I am strongly recommending that Kayla is to stay away from my daughter at all costs. I encourage the other mothers to speak up to those who I become friendly with saying that Kayla is a piece of work. And have this woman removed from this academy so she cannot hurt and offend our children. Kayla will give this academy a bad name. As I can see I am the first to write a bad review and I do apologize to miss Lindsey who has been extremely helpful and the other ladies there I am sorry I do not know all their names but you ladies are great. It's Kayla that is the problem, she may not have been in the past but she clearly lost her patience with the younger children and I no longer have trust in this academy if she stays. I ha e never been notified that my child does not listen only glorified about how well she has been doing and in a short few months had made a lot of friends there. I really do not understand the reason that another adult should lay one finger on someone else's child out of punishment unless the child was hitting another child which I know was not the case, and I do not have to be there to know that, I know my child. I am left with no reasons but Kayla picking on my child because she's different or accidentally spilled water like any humans making mistakes, at least my 5 year old owns it, and apologized for it right away. That's the least that I can say for you Kayla. When you are woman enough to tell me what happened. I am open and would love to hear from you. From this comment I know, that you know who exactly who's mother that I am. My contact information is in the file. Please contact me anytime anyway texts, email, phone call, etc. Hope to hear from you very soon. Please don't confuse me with my mother's information.
