The testimonials from both a parent and a long-time student highlight a culture that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of the dancers above all else. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My daughter has been attending dance here for 3 years. She loves MYDT and we have so enjoyed watching her progress through the last few years. Her teachers have been great, the choreography is really good and the environment of the studio has never felt overly competitive. Our daughter's group did perform 2 dances at a competition for the first time last winter & left with two 1st place trophies. The spring & winter shows are a lot of fun to attend and my daughter looks so happy when she is on stage. The other girls in her group and the older girls do a good job of supporting one another, which makes dance all that much more enjoyable. Janet, Chloe & all the staff have made dance a very special part of our daughter's life:) We would highly recommend MYDT to other parents looking for a dance studio for their child.
September 13 · Liz NahmI have been dancing at MYDT for 8 years, and I have been dancing for 10 years. I love the environment and all the teachers and whenever I’m having a bad day I just go to dance class and see my friends and I immediately feel better. I love how the teachers don’t pressure you to be perfect and they encourage you and never bring you down. But they also help you get better and grow as a dancer. It’s not a very competitive environment, and they only do 1 competition each year. You cant do a competition until you are in level 4, but that’s so the younger kids don’t have to worry about competing. All the teachers are so nice, and so is the director. MYDT has really made me grow as a dancer and I absolutely love it. I would highly recommend it as someone who wants to start dancing, or wants to get better. They have all dance styles including hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, modern, ballet, pre pointe, acro, lyrical and everything else. It is the best dance studio I have ever been at.
October 13 · Miri Baker-TrinityMYDT has been an amazing experience for our daughter and our family. She's been dancing there since she was 4 years old and every year she grows in strength, confidence, skill, and solid friendships. I appreciate the discipline at MYDT, the focus on technique, as well as the tremendous skill and creativity of the teachers. But most importantly, I appreciate the positive and supportive environment they foster. Many thanks to this staff and their amazing director for providing our kids a positive place to grow artistically and personally.
September 18 · Jeanne BrownellMy daughter has been dancing with MYDT and has enjoyed the close community with other dancers and encouraging teachers. Even though it's a further drive for us to attend this studio, she looks forward to a new year because of the years of positive experiences she's had.
September 12 · Jennifer Baker-TrinityWe have been really happy with MYDT. They offer a lot of different levels and you can really determine how competitive or intense you want it to be. The community is really welcoming, the teachers are great, and the shows they put on are wonderful. Our daughter learned a lot in dance in her first year there and we will definitely be continuing.
