Baby Dance With Me for ages 14 months-2 years and their caregiver
Baby Dance With Me! is a 30 minute movement and music class designed for little movers 14 months to 2 years and their caregiver. The class is the perfect introduction to music and movement for the very young child not ready to separate but ready to explore in a nurturing learning environment. The basic elements of dance are introduced in a positive and loving way using props such as scarves, stuffed animals and musical instruments. Caregivers (in comfortable clothing) and children participate together throughout the class. Little movers must be walking. 4-week sessions of Baby Dance With Me are offered through out the year

Hip Hop classes for beginners through advanced students
Hip Hop encompasses many different urban dance styles such as poppin’, locking, breaking as well as freestyle movement to give students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style. Our Hip Hop classes teach rhythm, coordination, musicality and choreography without suggestive music or movements. Students are challenged to think on their feet while enjoying an energetic and fast-paced dance class. Our Hip Hop dancers develop focus, strength, and agility while having fun. This is an excellent class for high-energy kids who want to take a fast and fun dance class.
Irish Step
Offered for boys and girls of age 5 1/2 and up. Our beginner class is an introduction to Irish Dance technique and basic soft shoe movements focusing on balance and musicality. Students will learn basic movements, counting the beats and having fun while Irish dancing! More advanced students continue building strength and musicality as they learn the fundamental and essentials of traditional
KidTumble for ages 3 1/2- 5 years
Kid Tumble focuses on the fundamentals of tumbling such as basic progressions including forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and bridges.
Lyrical classes for beginners through advanced students
Lyrical is a fusion of ballet and jazz, with expressive motions that tell a story. Students will learn lyrical technique along with how to express emotion through movement.
Pointe
Offered for students age thirteen or older, who have studied ballet at The Dance Corner for at least three years and are taking two or more dance classes a week (including ballet). Instructor permission is required for Pointe classes.
Pre-Stars Dance for ages 3 1/2-5 years
A 55 minute class for pre-schoolers containing ballet, tap and creative movement. Dancers will learn basic steps and terminology in ballet and tap, and explore their own creative movement styles through the use of imaginative music and games in a safe, positive environment. Dancers in this class will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age appropriate movement and exercises. Our instructors use imagination games, upbeat age-appropriate music and props like scarves, hula hoops, tambourines and maracas to inspire and excite students about dance. Students will also work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening and working with others. Placement Notes: It is highly recommended that Pre-Stars students be at least 3 ½ by October 1st. Students younger than this should consider the Twinkle Twos class for their first dance experience.

The Dance Corner is top notch! Our daughter loves this studio (and so do we)! Miss Carrie and her team are amazing. I love how the focus is on safety and wellness. Communication especially during this spring during the pandemic was amazing. The protocols, thought and planning that was put in place to bring kids back into the studio this summer is excellent and we feel very safe with our daughter participating back in dance classes. Fantastic for every level of dancer.

The Dance Corner is an incredible dance studio! The teachers are out of this world talented and so supportive of the students. My daughter has learned so much from Miss Carrie. She is so patient with the little dancers and can stop any preclass tears & fears. She challenges them in a supportive environment so their growth in technique is amazing from the start of the season to the end! If you want a supportive dance studio where your child can learn & grow...this is the place.

We cannot say enough about the team at The Dance Corner! All the teachers we have interacted with have been fantastic and any questions for the studio are promptly responded to. The communication is top notch. We are just finishing up our 3rd year there with a weekly dance class as well as participating in the Ensemble dance team that attends competitions. This allowed us to see many other dance studio routines and I commend The Dance Corner on age appropriate songs and choreography. If you are looking for a great experience- look no further! The Dance Corner is the best!

My daughter has tried dance at two other studios and never really enjoyed it. She wanted to try a hip hop class as a beginner this year at and 10 years old we decided to try Dance Corner. We are so glad we did! She had such a great experience that next year she has decided to take three other classes. Miss Carrie is very responsive via email and really puts in the effort to get to know all her students and their parents. As an educator in the arts myself I am very impressed by her ability to really connect with all students. The culture at the school is very positive and Miss Brooke was an awesome teacher for my daughter, who was very nervous going into the school year. I highly recommend this studio!

My daughter attended this studio a few years ago and she had the best experience ever!! The staff was committed and truly cared about my daughter and her dance education. The studio owner is extremely professional and kind!! This studio is very classy. At the other studio my daughter attended dress code wasn’t enforced and skimpy and overall inappropriate costumes were chosen. The costumes and choreography at the dance corner are tasteful and unique. This studio also supports a variety of abilities and age ranges. I would definitely recommend this studio if you want your child to learn in the most supportive and kind environment ever!!
