August 13 · Caroline ConkleSo very grateful for Dancing Fish Contra Dancing venue. The callers and the bands are the BEST in the country. The geographic location and grounds are excellent! The community, warm & welcoming. My dancing is even more important for it’s a “wellness treat” to battle the disgust and uncertainty I feel w this administration. The dancing is physical and mental exercise. And your face WILL HURT from smiling and laughing. 🔥
June 26 · Ribota de SajambreMy husband and I enjoyed this dance venue. From what I understand it was built by a fellow who loves contra dance and wants to provide a hall for that community to hold dances. He may even rent the venue out for other events—weddings, for instance—but I do not know. The owner has really put in thoughtful touches, such as huge fans on the ceiling and big roll-up garage-style doors to keep fresh air flowing. There’s even air conditioning when it is too hot outside. It is exciting to see the additions he has planned—a covered porch on the side, I believe—and the people who regularly dance there are fun and welcoming. I would highly encourage people to visit this place, and I recommend everyone to check out its website for more information.
August 06 · Lydia MolineauxSuch a fun place for Contra dancing. The facility is so nice with a beautiful wood floor and the people are very friendly. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys contra dancing.
September 19 · Terry AvickWould never attend this place. Any business that forces its attendees to get a vaccine before entry should be shut down. Florida law prohibits any business from turning away someone who isn't vaccinated. You have no right, to force people to show you that they are vaccinated.
