Mikayla is a queen!!! My (now) husband and I decided to do a 12 lesson package at Arthur Murray to prepare for our first dance at our wedding. As notoriously non-dancing people, we told Mikayla that we wanted to blow the socks off of all our friends and family with a beautiful, choreographed dance. Mikayla captured our vision perfectly and didn't even get mad when we changed the song after our first lesson!!! (oops) We were both in post-graduate programs during our engagement, my husband in Kentucky and me in Pittsburgh. We had limited time to use our lessons, but Mikayla made sure we got on the schedule and were getting the most out of every lesson. We are so happy with our dance and everyone's socks were gone by the end of our song. We will certainly be returning!

Whether you are a beginner, have experience, are solo or have a partner AM McMurray is a terrific studio learn and grow as a dancer. The instructors at AM McMurray are top notch, friendly and make learning enjoyable no matter your skill level. The studio is well managed by Liz and Carlos, who are also exceptional teachers. We worked primarily with Carlos, but were able to work with all the other instructors at different times and learned from each of them. The studio space is large, with multiple rooms for lessons and is equiped with state of art sound systems in each lesson room. We found the other students to be welcoming and willing to practice. AM McMurray has a community feel and they plan events for all no matter you dance level. We had some prior dance experience, but learned each time we took lessons. Dancing does not come easy for me, but with the support of the team at AM I was able to support my partner and perform on stage beyond what I ever imagined for someone with a little natural talent. I highly recommend AM McMurray.

If you're looking for a place to learn to dance, you can't do better than this studio. No matter how awkward you are, the instructors are patient and encouraging. There's a nice social atmosphere as you get to know the other students. You can set your own goals, and the instructors help you reach them.I’ve been dancing here for more than a dozen years. I learn at my own pace — but I keep learning and growing as a dancer. You do not have to have your own partner. You can dance with the instructor for private lessons. During group classes all the partners rotate so you get experience dancing with people of varying levels of skill — and you don’t have to arrive with a partner of your own.
