Golden Artillery Dance And Tumbling Studio Reviews
confidence
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As someone who loves to support black owned businesses. THIS AINT IT. This company is unprofessional, untrust worthy, and and overall not the best place to build skills and confidence for your children. My sister and I enrolled our daughters into the tumbling class. We had been attending for a little over 1 month. During the time I was there I witnessed most of the children being spoken to disrespectfully, to the point of making them cry.I questioned the parents as to if this was the norm, and they said yes, it seemed to be the culture of the company. This didnt sit well with me, but I had not personally had any encounters with the trainers concerning my child, until one day.My sister and I were watching the girls tumble. My sister had concerns about how my neice was hitting her head against the floor when attempting to do the backwards roll, and went to ask the trained about it.He became very defensive, rude, and aggressive and asked her to take her child and leave. (later he said he did this because she came onto the mat, however, he did not initially say, hold on lets take this conversation off the mat to discuss further, which would have been the professional thing to do, rather he entertained the conversation). The situation escalated quickly in front of the children and the parents ( again unprofessional). He insisted she leave, and she insisted her kids needed to put their shoes on first as she was not leaving without them. I attmpted to deescalate the situation as I was confused on how a parents concern had escalated into a scene. My sister proceeded to leave the premises.I spoke with the owner and his mother about not returning and being refunded for the remainder of the month, to which they agreed. They claimed the didnt have the money on them and to come and pick it up on Thursday. ( I was unable to pick up the money on Thursday and called the following week to arrange pick up.)At this point Tonya, the mother states she will only refund for 1 child because the other 2 were not involved in the situation and could comeback to class🙄. Which was not the agreement we had the following week. (Keep in mind, the trainer asked her to take her children and leave because she questioned him). 2 of the children are hers, and my daughter, the cousin, were all enrolled at the same time as a "sibling package" ( something the owner agreed to) so it was clear it was a package deal from the beginning.) 3 kids × said rate= package deal.In conclusion, they did not give us a refund for the classes we had paid for in advance for any of the children, nor an apology for the unprofessionalism of the company.I know as parents we want to save money while supporting those in our community, but take my advise, pay the extra money and get the proper training and professionalism that you and you family deserve for your hard earned money. THIS AINT IT!! #Is Not It # Isn't it !!!Best wishes!!
