★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We moved here about 2 years ago and I immediately enrolled my daughter at another studio that was closer to our home. I was very disappointed when she wanted to quit after a few months because she took ballet and tap for 2 years before moving here and really enjoyed it. Our neighbor suggested we try the Linda Kinlaw studio, so I convinced my daughter to try 1 class at this new studio before completely giving up on dance. I am so glad we took her advice because it changed everything! From the moment we stepped foot in the studio, I knew we had found the right place. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff at the front desk and I was pleasantly surprised that her teacher came into the lobby a few minutes before the class to introduce herself. My daughter immediately warmed up to her and happily followed her into the studio when it was time to dance. I have watched my daughter grow leaps and bounds since making the switch to LKSOD. I don’t usually leave reviews but our time here at Bragg is sadly coming to an end and with the large number of studios to choose from, I am so thankful we found this place. Do yourself a favor and try LKSOD FIRST! They truly are THE BEST.
April 10 · Jenn StanleyWe have been dancing at Linda Kinlaw School of Dance for 3 years now. I was very impressed with how much my 3 year old learned in her first year. I couldn't believe how much terminology my toddler was able to recite after only a few months. My daughter just finished her 3rd year of dance taking ballet, jazz, and hip-hop. We have had 3 different teachers so far and they have all been exceptional. The thing that stands out the most is how caring the staff has been. You can tell they really care about the students and go above and beyond to make sure they get individual attention even in a larger class size. We have done 3 recitals now and they have all been very organized. I highly recommend this studio it is by far the best around!
April 10 · Glam TAfter trying two other dance studios before this one for my daughter, I found the quality of instruction superior than the others. Three years later, my daughter has come so far and genuinely has become attached to all the instructors! I couldn't ask for a better studio than this one and I highly recommend anyone with a child interested in dance to start here.
July 14 · Daniel VelezMy daughter is special needs, it was fully disclosed her teacher on Wed class does not have experience working with special needs expelled her from the class after 1 class. The teacher doesn't want parents observing or coming in the class when their child is scared. They admitted that the class fluctuate between 3 to 4 students and down to 1.. my question was why? If there is a fluctuation and instability in that class it may me wonder why? What is that teacher doing, not wanting parents of 3 and 4 years not to be around, and the class having that much of an instability of students. Even though her Thursday teacher and I talked there seem to be no issue, the so-called school stated the teacher was uncomfortable in approaching me after this post... I included a photo to show their teachers are inexperienced with disabled children. They stated, " you open the observation windows " well, I was told you could observe the children, then they don't say anything, they put up signs that say " you can't observe but the first of the month. This has been the only school, that the teachers will say, "they did great in class" and the office staff will say the teacher was uncomfortable approaching you... in my book this is not professional. They do not have private conversations with you, they make sure its public. They don't tell you what to expect, all of a sudden there's a sign posted.... their website says professional teachers, but their actions, and their own emails stating inexperienced says other wise. If you go to my photos you can read their full email yourself. They ask me to amend my post I asked them to amend their website to state the true experience of each teacher
September 05 · Charles RomansMy 9-year-old daughter has been dancing at this studio for over a year now, and I must admit, this is by far the best facility we have been to! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and they TEACH the children. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone that wants their child to succeed in dance!
