The Little Gym of Seattle at Maple Leaf Introduce
Introduction / Overview
For families across Seattle and the greater Washington area seeking enriching, active, and safe experiences for their children, The Little Gym of Seattle at Maple Leaf stands out as a premier destination. More than just a gymnasium or a dance school, this facility is a comprehensive children’s development center that uses movement-based learning to foster confidence, coordination, and crucial life skills in a seriously fun environment. Catering to children from four months through twelve years of age, The Little Gym has established itself as an essential part of the Maple Leaf community.
The core philosophy driving The Little Gym is a proprietary framework known as “Three-Dimensional Learning.” This approach recognizes that physical activity is not just about strength and motor skills; it is a powerful catalyst for nurturing the whole child. Every class, program, and summer camp is meticulously designed to encourage growth across three holistic dimensions: Get Moving, Brain Boost, and Citizen Kid. This commitment ensures that while children are having a blast running, tumbling, and playing, they are simultaneously developing cognitive abilities, social etiquette, and emotional resilience.
The Maple Leaf location provides a wide spectrum of year-round activities, including Parent/Child classes for the youngest learners, structured Pre-K and Grade School Gymnastics, vibrant Youth Dance programs, and a popular Children’s Party Service. The highly praised staff, known for their patience and positive energy, are dedicated to creating a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere where every child feels encouraged to explore and achieve new milestones at their own pace. This makes it a trusted environment for Seattle-area parents looking for a clean, childproof space where their children can safely burn chaotic energy and grow.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My 2-year-old son just had his first class at Little Gym Maple Leaf, and we will definitely be back! I was very impressed with the way Teacher Jackie was able to keep a class of toddlers organized and flowing smoothly, while giving individual attention to each kid and also allowing them freedom to explore on their own. My son had an absolute blast; this seems like a great outlet for some of that chaotic 2yo energy 😂.
August 04 · Beatrice LeverettThis was our first experience at The Little Gym and my 2 year old had a BLAST. Teacher Jackie and Teacher Callie were fantastic and helped make my son feel very comfortable. It was very clean and everything felt really safe and childproof. Thank you Little Gym!
September 19 · Linnea HartThe Little Gym of MapleLeaf has been a fantastic way to ensure our son learned healthy & safe ways to exercise for almost 10 years now. Very professional, supportive & thorough; highly recommend!
August 29 · Lisa McCluskeyWe’ve been coming to little gym since our now 2.5 year old was about 6 months old. He was cared for at home, so it was a great way to get him around other kids. He can be a bit shy, but little gym has helped him be more confident and outgoing. Teachers Jackie (also the manager) and Carina are phenomenal. I’ve noticed lots of positive changes in the gym since Jackie took over this branch! Highly recommend.
July 30 · Anna MetcalfeLittle Gym focuses as much on skill building as confidence building in a safe, encouraging, and really fun environment. My typically shy 5-year-old has a huge smile for most of every class, and it’s been amazing to see how much his confidence and gross motor skills have grown in such a short time. I also love the many class options, including make-up classes. Teacher Jackie and Teacher Carina really shine as well!
