May 20 · Paint And Jam LLCIt could easily be said that New Orleans is oversaturated with festivals artists and markets. But you would be run out of town pretty quickly because you can't be oversaturated when it's literally woven into the fabric of the culture. However these two girls behind uptown market have managed to bring something special to the arena that is all too often lacking in markets that have been around possibly too long. That is a genuine love for the market life and respect for the creators they host. Oh and for a market lover who's been haunting them for almost 30 years I saw original and unseen work and merchandise at this, my new favorite market.... Uptown!PS... Check out the artist in residence "in the window" for this month. There's a new #Krewe this season for #mardigras...All Hail the Krewe de Emu!
